Deportation and Removal

Gulf Coast Immigration (GC) represents and advises business and individual clients through the removal proceedings in immigration court for foreign investors, executives, managers, professionals, and other workers and their family members.

Deportation also referred to as "removal" in legal terms, occurs when the federal government orders that a non-citizen be removed from the United States on the ground of different reasons, but typically occurs after a violation of immigration or criminal laws.

When the federal government discovers that a person has entered the United States illegally, overstayed their visa, or otherwise violated US immigration law, it will likely initiate removal proceedings against that person.
